I’m Anna, I’m nineteen and I’m a second year university student. I’m studying English Literature, which goes without saying really, doesn’t it?
I’m a firm believer in the mystical powers of a good book and brew – balm for the soul. Though less magical and medicinal, I appreciate movies too. Horror is my speciality but I have been known to occasionally stray into the minefield of the girly movie – they’re like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. I’m a bit of an everyman really; if you asked me to pick by favourite literary genre I would reel back, appalled. It’s like asking a mother to pick her favourite child; it can only be done with a bribe.
At the core of this blog is a moral dilemma, forever punctuated by the question of how and where I should really be spending my time – maybe the library? So this blog will be good for us in more ways than one: we’ll muse upon the most gorgeous fictional characters, chart our best-loved book to film adaptions, and, from time to time, I’ll produce something educational that we can all feel proud of.
I can’t help feeling that this is the start of something beautiful.
